The New York Vascular Anomalies and Hemangioma
Specialists (NYVHAS) is a coalition of New York City based
specialists working together to establish uniform treatment
standards, state-of-the-art research, on-going physician education,
and patient education concerning the diagnosis, treatment,
and classification of vascular birthmarks and tumors. |

Dr. Waner is an internationally recognized authority on hemangiomas
and vascular malformations. He is currently Co-Director of the
Vascular and Birthmarks Institute of New York at Roosevelt Hospital
and co-author of a medical textbook on the surgical and medical

Dr. Rosen's current position is at Lenox Hill Heart and Vascular
Institute in New York after 25 years as the Director of Vascular
and Interventional Radiology at New York University Medical
Center and in the Deptarment of Radiology at Bellevue in New
